The International Joint Laboratory of Behavior and Cognitive Science is looking to appointment Research Scientist/Professorship within the Research Areas of the Laboratory. The duties will include recruitment of research participants, screening and enrolment, running participants through the study protocol, physiological assessment of cognitive performance measures, data management, data analysis and preparation of manuscripts and supervision of Research Assistant assigned to the study. The academic will also develop new lines of research complementary to the main project.

The successful candidate must have:

– PhD by research in Psychology or an area relevant to the post.

– Track record of research excellence as indicated by two of the following conditions:

– Publications in peer reviewed journals;

– Successful grant applications;

– Experience of managing research projects (as a PI or Co-PIs);

– National and international collaborations; or

– Keynote addresses and/or invitations to present at prestigious scientific conferences.

Job Description

The role of a Foreign English teacher is to help our students speak English and improve English practical skills. Those responsibilities include preparing lessons and lesson material, teaching young adult students, holding counseling sessions, assisting colleagues, maintaining records, writing progress reports, etc. You will have 16-18 classes per week, each class for 45 minutes. Responsibilities

• Oral English teachers: Teach 18 class hours a week (30 students per class)
• Academic teachers: Teach 12 class hours a week (60 students per class)
• Any additional hours are optional and compensated as overtime: 85-160 per hour
• Host 2 hours of office hours with students a week

Misc. Responsibilities:

• Attend monthly faculty meetings and weekly Team meetings
• Proctor 2 times for other teachers
• Attend 6 different events throughout the year (example: graduation)

Overview

Zhengzhou Business University is a private University located in Gongyi, Zhengzhou. The University is located in Henan Province, the heart of China, which has good access to famous historical sites including the Shaolin Temple, Yellow River, and the birthplace of Tai chi. High speed train access is available to Beijing, Xi’an, or other cities. Job Description

1. Work with students aged 18 to 20.
2. No more than 18 hours per week.
3. 5 working days per week (Monday to Friday).
4. Class size: on average 20 students

Salary and Benefits:

1. Monthly salary of 10,000 RMB to 15,000RMB (depending on qualifications and experience).*
2. A ‘travel allowance’ of 2000RMB, paid during the ‘Spring Festival’ period.
