Position: English Teacher

Category: Academic – Teaching

Work type: Full time (One academic year from September to June next year)

Work place: School of Foreign Studies, Guangzhou University, Guihuagang Campus and University Town Campus

Position Requirements:

1. – Native English speaker from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia or New Zealand
2. – A bachelor’s degree or above
3. – Teacher certification (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA)
4. – Majoring in English Language and Literature, Business, Commerce, etc.
5. – A minimum of two years teaching experience or relevant experience in college or university (with reference letters)
6. – Certificate of non-criminal record/Letter of Good Conduct
7. – Good health conditions/health certificate
8. – Aged 24 to 55

Job Responsibilities:

1. – Expected teaching courses/subjects: Oral English; Writing, Listening & Speaking; Critical Thinking; Cross-Cultural Communication; Art of Public Speaking; Introduction to the U.K. and the U.S.; etc.
2. – Expected to engage in lesson planning and course development
3. – 16 teaching hours per week
