Basic research and application research related to artificial intelligence, big data, computer, electronic engineering, information engineering, robotics and automation, intelligent manufacturing, advanced manufacturing and high-end equipment.


Recruitment Conditions and Positions
The applicant must have obtained a doctoral degree for no more than 3 years, or be a recent doctoral candidate who has passed the doctoral thesis defense. The applicants must be under 35 years old.

  1. Applicants for Class I and II postdoctoral positions should obtain a doctoral degree from a university or discipline that ranks among the top 100 in the world (ARWU, QS, THE, US News) .
  2. Applicants for Class II postdoctoral positions should obtain a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree from a domestic ‘Double First Class’ construction university, one of the top 500 universities in the world, or a research institute directly under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and obtain a doctoral degree or an excellent candidate who has passed the doctoral thesis defense.
  3. Applicants for Class III postdoctoral positions should have obtained a doctoral degree from domestic and international universities or research institutions, or have passed the excellent defense of their doctoral thesis.

Employment Period Management and Development Prospects

  1. Abide by discipline and laws, and have no violations of discipline or rules; Loving the cause of higher education, having good physical and mental health, possessing good moral character and professional ethics, generally under the age of 35;
  2. A doctoral degree obtained for no more than 3 years, or a recent doctoral thesis defense.

Class III postdoctoral Meet the basic requirements for entering the station. 200 thousand 2-4 years

Fringe Benefits

  1. Salary: 200 thousand to 320 thousand yuan (before tax), and pay “five insurances and one fund” for postdoctoral fellows according to the standards of peers on campus;
  2. Housing security: Provide postdoctoral apartment rental or enjoy rental subsidies;
  3. Children’s enrollment: Admission and enrollment shall be handled according to the same treatment as the children of the school’s faculty and staff;
  4. Our university encourages and supports outstanding postdoctoral candidates to apply for the “pre appointment long-term appointment” teaching and research position after leaving the station. 引进的专业技术类外籍教师合同期3年,引进的外国语言教学类教师合同期1年,合同期满按相应岗位要求进行考核,考核通过的,按有关规定办理续聘,考核不通过的,不予续聘。

Professional technical teachers are employed on a three-year contract, while foreign language teachers are on a one-year contract. At the end of these terms, a performance evaluation will be conducted based on the requirements of the respective positions. Those who pass the evaluation will be processed for contract renewal in accordance with relevant policies, whereas those who fail to meet the evaluation criteria will not be offered an extension.

I. About the School

The School of Electronic Science and Engineering is one of the important schools in Nanjing University for personnel training and scientific research in the field of electronics and information technology. It ranks A-class in electronic science and technology in China Discipline Evaluation due to its strong human resources and fruitful scientific achievements. Our institute has 107 full-time teaching staffs, including 2 Academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and more than 30 nation-level professors. The college has Innovation teams of Changjiang Scholars of the Ministry of Education and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, forming a diversified teaching and research team with reasonable structure and strong innovation ability. The school is guided by the forefront of science and technology and major national needs and undertakes a large number of national key research projects as well as other research projects in cooperation with provinces, local governments and high-tech enterprises. II. Positions

The School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Nanjing University, plans to recruit three tenure-track professors from all over the world in the following fields:

(1) Computational sensing, imaging and perception

(2) Superconducting single photon detection

(3) Optoelectronic devices based on wide-gap-band semiconductor

 

III. Qualifications

The applicant should

(1) Obey laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, and have great interests in teaching and research;

(2) Good teaching and academic ethics, working diligently, no criminal records, no punishment records of teaching and academic ethics;

(3) Top-level academic background: have a doctoral degree in related disciplines, have study and work experience in the top-level teaching and research institution, and well understand the state of art in related fields. The applicant for Assistant Professor should have engaged in academic research for more than two years after receiving the doctoral degree. The applicant for Associate Professor should have engaged in academic research for more than four years after receiving the doctoral degree;

(4) Top-level academic background: have a doctoral degree in related disciplines, have study and work experience in the top-level teaching and research institution, and well understand the state of art in related fields;

(5) Outstanding research achievements and potential: have good research achievements and original views on relevant research fields, have clear organizations of future research plan, and good academic potential.
