Academic Disciplines:

Candidates in all areas of information science and technology shall be considered. Our recruitment focus includes, but is not limited to: computer science and technology, electronic science and technology, information and communication engineering, applied mathematics and statistics, data science, robotics, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, internet of things, electrical engineering, intelligent power and energy systems, computer systems and security, operation research, mathematical optimization and other interdisciplinary fields involving information science and technology, especially areas related to AI.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary and startup funds are highly competitive, commensurate with experience and academic accomplishment. 三、聘期

III. Contract period

引进的专业技术类外籍教师合同期3年，引进的外国语言教学类教师合同期1年，合同期满按相应岗位要求进行考核，考核通过的，按有关规定办理续聘，考核不通过的，不予续聘。

Professional technical teachers are employed on a three-year contract, while foreign language teachers are on a one-year contract. At the end of these terms, a performance evaluation will be conducted based on the requirements of the respective positions. Those who pass the evaluation will be processed for contract renewal in accordance with relevant policies, whereas those who fail to meet the evaluation criteria will not be offered an extension.

通过考核、经学校审定的拟录用人选办理体检手续、签署合同、有关许可、入职手续等有关事项按上级及学校有关规定与要求执行。

Candidates who pass the assessment and are approved by administrators of SZIIT will proceed with medical examination procedures, contract signing, relevant permissions, and other onboarding processes, as per the guidelines set by local authorities and SZIIT.

Changzhou University (CZU) is located in Changzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in the south of the Yangtze River, Jiangsu Province. It is one of the most developed and innovative regions in China. By taking high-speed railway, it takes about 40 minutes from Changzhou to the provincial capital Nanjing, and only 50 minutes to Shanghai. Founded in 1978, CZU is a provincial public university jointly established by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province, China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petrochemical Corporation and China National Offshore Oil Corporation. The university has three campuses: Science and Education City campus, Xi Taihu campus and Jingjiang campus, covering an area of nearly 3000 mu. In the global nature index, the annual ranking of CZU is basically between the 50th and 70th among all the domestic universities. CZU ranks the 135th in the ESI comprehensive ranking among all the domestic universities, the 150th in the comprehensive strength ranking of Wu Shulian Chinese universities ranks and the 129th in China’s universities soft science rank in 2020. 2. Recruitment Requirements

2.1 Specialized courses teachers

2.1.1 Abide by the Constitution and laws of the People’s Republic of China;

2.1.2 Abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;

2.1.3 Educational background: Master degree or higher.

2.1.4 Majors: Computer Science and Technology, Electronic Information Engineering, Information Management and Information System, Pharmaceutical Engineering and other related majors.

2.1.5 2 years’ related professional teaching experience；can provide reference letters and other documents as needed.

2.2 Foreign language teachers

2.1.1 Abide by the Constitution and laws of the People’s Republic of China;

2.1.2 Abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;

2.2.3 Native language or official language：English, Japanese or Spanish.

2.2.4 Educational background: Bachelor degree or higher. No limitation on majors.

2.2.5 have TESOL certificate or 2 years’ related teaching experience；can provide reference letters and other documents as needed.

3. Job Responsibility

3.1 Engage in full-time teaching work. Specialized courses teaching is mainly for students in the School of Overseas Education. Foreign language teachers mainly teach English/Japanese /Spanish spoken lessons.

3.2 Complete other teaching tasks assigned by CZU, including answering questions after class, tutorials, etc.

Participate in or organize extra-curricular activities.

3.3 Abide by Changzhou University Teachers’ code of conduct and teaching regulations.

4. Wages and Benefits

4.1 Monthly salary: 8000-10000 yuan (Bachelor degree holder or language teacher),

10000-13000 yuan (Master degree holder or specialized courses teacher).

4.2. Other Benefits:

4.2.1 Free accommodation on campus.

4.2.2 Round-trip air ticket reimbursement as long as providing one year’s teaching service. Maximum amounts: 20000 yuan in total.
